Wilmington, last year, coes this year to Wilson station. M. H. Tuttle, of Caldwell, to A Minister's Secret Marriage. Following are the particulars of the marriage of Rev. Mr. Wood son, who is well known here, and who held protracted meetiugs at this place and Glen Alpine Sta tion some months since: The Statesville Landmark says: "Rev. C. J. Woodson is a minister of the Baptist Church, a brotner-in-law of ex-Gov. Jarvis. and holds a rov ing commission under which he preaches and baptizes all over the mountains of this State. Wilkes boro is in his territory, and upon his visits to that place lie has been a visitor of Miss Maud Frontis, a daughter of Prol. Stephen Frontis, late of Mooresville, who has been boarding and teaching at Mr. J. M. Wei bom's, near Wilkesboro. Wednesday ot last week Mr. Woodson was at Wilkesboro and that morning lie and .Miss Frontis went to ride. He left that after noon and about Saturday letters came addressed to Mrs.C. J.Wood son, when it was ascertained that on the occasion of the ride the couple had driven out to Mora vian Falls and been married by Rev. G. W. Green.
